How We Train

Course tracks + on-site coaching

Mix and match live workshops with follow-up course content so volunteers can practice on their schedule and your systems.

On-Site Team Intensives

Half-day or full-day sessions at your church, on your gear. Ideal for new campuses, gear upgrades, or rebuilding team culture.

Best for: launching new volunteers, resetting expectations, and solving recurring Sunday issues in real time.

Live Online Cohorts

Short, focused Zoom sessions with your team and our coach. Recordings available for those who miss a week.

Best for: ongoing coaching, refining systems over time, and multi-site teams.

Self-Paced Team Courses

Short, watch-together lessons with printable checklists and worksheets tailored for churches and volunteers.

Best for: onboarding new volunteers and reinforcing live training throughout the year.

We’ll respond with 1–2 suggested tracks based on your budget and volunteer load.

A clear path from chaos to confident Sundays

Each KB Experiences training sequence follows a simple, repeatable arc so your team never wonders what to do next:

  • Clarify: map your current Sunday flow and tech responsibilities.
  • Simplify: remove unnecessary steps that confuse volunteers.
  • Systematize: build run sheets, checklists, and role guides.
  • Rehearse: practice with coaching until the process feels natural.

Most churches see noticeable improvement in mix quality, fewer Sunday surprises, and calmer volunteers in 6–8 weeks.

“Our livestream finally matches what we experience in the room—and our volunteers are actually excited to serve.”

“Before KB Experiences, tech Sundays felt like damage control. After one on-site intensive and a few weeks of follow-up calls, we have simple checklists, clear roles, and a confident team. I don’t worry about mics cutting out or awkward livestream moments anymore.”

Questions & Details

FAQ for pastors & team leads

If you’re not sure whether your church is a fit, these might help.

What size churches do you typically work with?

Most training happens in churches between 150 and 1500 in weekly attendance. The key factor is not your size, but your desire to invest in healthy, sustainable volunteer teams. If you’re smaller or larger than this range, we’ll simply shape the training format to match your context.

Do you only work with certain brands of gear or consoles?

No. We train on the gear you already have—analog or digital boards, software switchers, hardware switchers, and presentation tools you’re already using. If you’re considering upgrades, we can also help you make wise, budget-aware decisions that fit your volunteers’ skill level.

How far in advance should we book an on-site training?

Most churches book 4–8 weeks ahead to secure their preferred weekend. If you’re navigating a tight timeline or a launch date, reach out anyway—occasionally we have last-minute availability or can begin with online sessions while we finalize travel dates.

Can you combine multiple teams in one training day?

Yes. We often design a morning session focused on one area (for example, FOH sound) and an afternoon or evening focused on livestream or visual media. During your assessment call, we’ll prioritize what will make the biggest difference for your Sundays.

What does the travel and lodging situation look like?

Travel and lodging are quoted separately based on your location and dates. We keep travel simple and transparent—no surprise fees—and will confirm all expected costs before you commit.
